Dr. Gomer is a dedicated primary care physician, board-certified in family practice medicine. He graduated with honors from the University of Missouri, Columbia School of Medicine in 2000. Since completing his residency at Denver Health Medical Center in 2007, Dr. Gomer has served as a primary care and urgent care provider, working with patients from a variety of backgrounds including rural New Zealanders and the Diné of the Navajo Nation, and he has received the Doctor-Patient relationship award from the University of Colorado.
As Medical Director, Dr. Gomer will collaborate with our CLC clinical team to develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures to ensure the successful delivery of superior quality healthcare to residents and rehab guests. As a collaborating physician with Redwood Health Partners, he will bring his expertise and experience in person-centered care to our senior living environment to improve resident health and health outcomes. Dr. Gomer will play a vital role in our Perennial Advantage partnership, and will also be a vital member of our infection prevention and control program as we continue the fight to keep residents and team members protected during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Shannon has been in the nursing field since 1995, starting as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), then a Licensed Practical Nurse, then as a Registered Nurse. She worked her way through nursing school working as a CNA, working in a range of nursing roles. She quickly realized skilled nursing and long-term care were her passions.
“I just love getting to know the residents,” says Todd.
She is also a mother of five, including one foster child, who has lived with her now for 4 years, and is just considered part of the family. She loves animals, the outdoors, and has lived in Colorado for 20 years.
Kristin received her training at the University of Evansville and has been working as a PT since 2001. Kristin has served our community since 2009.
Alex received his training at Colorado State University for Exercise Health and Science and then Morgan Community College for Physical Therapist Assistant. Alex has been working as a PTA since 2009 and has served our community since 2018.
Jennifer received her training at the University of Hartford and San Jose State. Jennifer has worked as an OT since 1995 and has served our community since 2016.
Amy received her training at DeVry. Amy has worked as a COTA since 2000 and has served our community since 2012.
